Trip Coming to an End
Yesterday at 10:00 pm I caught a bus to Bangkok. This time I went on a big bus, not a van. The trip went well, and I arrived at Bangkok around 2:00. I grabbed a taxi to the Skytrain station, and then took the skytrain to my destination. For the next two nights I will be staying in a small apartment/condo. I wanted an area to make sure I can really pack and be prepared for the flight home. Pictured it is the small apartment I rented, along with the view. Today I woke up around 7:00 and got ready to go to Wat Pho. This is a temple in central Bangkok famous for a 46 meter long reclining Buddha. It also has lots of other things to offer as well. The entrance fee is 100 Baht, or about 3 USD. Th total transit time to the temple from the apartment was about 1 hour and 20 minuets. I decided to go early ignorer to beat most of the crowds and to avoid the heat of the day. The weather worked out in my favor, being overcast and cooler then normal. I had to walk about 40 min. thought
